  Example:

  Convert 256 to octal

  Use this method, i forgot the box method what is it called, a continuous division or something:

  8 | 256, 256 ÷ 8 = 32, Remainder 0             ^

  Divide until it is not divisble by 8                   |

  8 |    32,  32 ÷ 8 = 4, Remainder 0                  |

            4                    Remainder 4                    |

  Put all remainders downward to upward: 400 is the octal equivalent of 256 decimal
