# The perimeter of a rectangle is 48 feet. if the length is thrice its width, find the dimensions of tge rectangle

• Réponse publiée par: elishakim80

dimension is 6×18 feet

48 = 2L + 2W

L = 3W

therefore;

48= 2(3W) + 2W

48= 6W + 2W

48= 8W

W= 6

and

L = 3W

L= 3(6)

L= 18

to prove :

48= 2(18) + 2(6)

48= 36+ 12

48=48

18 ft × 6 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the width and 3x the length.

Getting the width.

P = 2L × 2W

Getting the length.

Check:

P = 2L + 2W

Correct!

23 green
52 red
34 blue
61 yellow
30 pink.
since we are looking to the percentage of red. so we need to do is the no if red gumballs over the total number of gumballs
52/23+52+34+61+30
52/200
21/100 or 21 %

in mathematics, the graph of a function f is, formally, the set of all ordered pairs (x, f( and, in practice, the graphical representation of this set. if the function input x is a real number, the graph is a two-dimensional graph, and, for a continuous function, is a curve.
