    25 ₱5 coins

    15 ₱10 coins

    Step-by-step explanation:

    If she has 10 ₱5 coins than ₱10 coins, then

    ₱5 × 10 = ₱50

    ₱275 - ₱50 = ₱225

    To find the number of coins she have:

    10 + 5 = 15

    225 ÷ 15 = 15

    Since she has 10 more ₱5 coins:

    15 + 10 = 25

    To check:

    ₱10 × 15 = ₱150

    ₱5 × 25 = ₱125

    ₱150 + ₱125 = ₱275

    let x = numbers of 10-peso coin

    and

    x + 10 = numbers of 5-peso coin

    thus,

    total money = P275

    amount with 10 peso coins = x(10 pesos) = 10x

    amount consisting 5 peso coins = (x+10)(5peso) = 5x + 50

    thus,

              amount with 10 peso coins + amount with 5 peso coins = 275

                                                       10x + 5x + 50 = 275

                                                                        15x = 275 - 50

                                                                        15x = 225

                                                                            x = 15

                                                    therefore, there are 15 - ten peso coins

    no. of 5-peso coins = x + 10

                                     = 15 + 10 = 25

    therefore, thereare 25-  five peso coins

    check:

        P10.00 x 15 = 150

        P5.00 x 25 =  125

    TOTAL                P275
